Color Studies

Every plane change is a color change, a principle first taught by Charles Hawthorne and later formalized by Henry Hensche. Tommy Thurmond showed Weathersbee its true nature, along with the power of color relationships. A new, honest series of small oil color studies on boards is on the way, painted outdoors in sunlight when possible and under studio lights on short winter days.
