Made in 2011 in Jackson, Mississippi, this is an early body of contemporary work. The pieces are mixed media, mostly colored pencil and pen on paper mounted on wood, with some marker and paint. They vary in size, and every one is signed and dated on the back. Weathersbee has done plenty of contemporary work.
